Ian Tai
Ian Tai is the founder of Bursaking.com.my, a platform that empowers retail investors to build wealth through ownership of fundamentally solid stocks. It is an essential tool that sifts out stocks that grow profits consistently from a database of over 900+ stocks listed mainly in Malaysia. As a Malaysian with close family ties in Singapore, Ian publishes a series of newsletters on how anyone can invest profitability in both countries.
Kent Chong
Kent is an economics and finance second-year student from RMIT University. He learned investing in stock market the hard way, from studying technical chart, trading stocks from hearsay, and even bought some stocks that were recommended by stock broker. After making some losses in the market for some time, he fortunately bumped into an online value investing course and learned about value investing. Since then, he started to read about value investors like Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger and Howard Marks. He believes that value investing is a continuous learning process, like Munger once said: “Those who keep learning, will keep rising in life.”
Chun Siang Chong
Chun Siang (CS) has been a civil servant for the past 6.5 years. He is also an avid investor who believe in growing wealth sensibly via ownership in fundamentally sound companies with good business performance. He has been blogging on ‘Grow Wealth with Sensible Investing’ since 2012 where he regularly shares his company research and analysis, quarterly results review, and thoughts on personal finance, investor psychology and portfolio management. Chun Siang graduated from NUS with a Bachelor in Business Admin with Finance and Logistics specialisation. He is currently obtaining a share trading rep and financial advisor license where he envisions to combine his passion for personal finance and investment, with a fulfilling career in enabling the ordinary folks to better manage their wealth with greater confidence.
CHEONG Chan Chean
Chan Chean started his investment journey in 2013. He conducts equity research and financial statement analysis on companies listed in Malaysia or Singapore stock market. He is an ASEAN scholar and currently enrolled in Singapore Management University Bachelor of Accountancy programme (2014 – 2018). Chan Chean was also the 2nd runner up for the national case challenge organized by Bain and Company in 2015.
David GOH
David is an Investment Analyst in an independent boutique fund management house in Singapore. He conducts in-depth analysis and valuation on investment opportunities across the consumer and retail sector in Asia Ex-Japan. David holds a B.B.M., summa cum laude, from Singapore Management University, and received the ING Finance Award as the top graduating Finance student. He passed Level II of the CFA Program.
HUANG Jirong
Jirong is an analyst in the public sector. He embraces a multi-disciplinary approach in analysing and understanding issues, and his interests lie in data analytics, economics, finance, systems dynamics, personal productivity and programming. Jirong graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU), B.sc. Economics and Finance, and National University of Singapore (NUS), Msc. Statistics. To further deepen his knowledge in programming, he is currently pursuing a Computer Science graduate diploma in the University of Adelaide.

Jessie TANG YJ
Jessie is an accounting and finance senior year student from the Singapore Management University. She has done multiple internship stints at UBS Investment Bank, Moody’s Investors Service, and Corecam (formerly known as Falcam Pte. Ltd.), a multi-family office. She was a member of a student-managed investment club at her university. Soon after joining the club, she chanced upon value investing. Since then, she has been a fervent disciple of classic value investors like Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Joel Greenblatt, and Howard Marks.
Her personal investment journey has been fraught with more downs than ups so far, but she believes mistakes are great opportunities for learning. She is also a budding entrepreneur and an aspiring investment writer. An energetic doer, she relishes a challenge and the outdoors.
NEO You Yue
You Yue is a third-year student from Singapore Management University and a Dean’s List Honouree. Having grown up in a family that practices value investing for a living, he is well acquainted with value investing. In school, he held the position of Property Sector Head in Singapore Management University Student Managed Investment Fund (SMU-SMIF), a long only equity fund focusing on Asia ex-Japan which uses fundamental analysis. He also had previous work experience at a leading boutique M&A advisory house.
